Q: How much is a notarization in California?
A: $15 per signature (state maximum) + a mobile travel fee based on distance/time.
Q: What IDs do you accept?
A: CA or other U.S. state DL/ID, U.S. passport, U.S. military ID, inmate ID, foreign passport with proper U.S. stamp. Must be current or issued within 5 years.
Q: Can you notarize for non-English speakers?
A: Yes if we can communicate directly in one language. No interpreters during the act itself.
Q: What if my document has the wrong notary wording?
A: We attach the correct California acknowledgment or jurat as a loose certificate.
Q: Do you keep copies of my documents?
A: No. We keep only the legally required journal entry and thumbprint where required.
Q: Can you advise which notarial act I need?
A: Notaries can’t give legal advice. Ask the document originator or your attorney; we’ll execute the act you request.
Q: Do you do remote online notarization (RON)?
A: California requires in-person notarization. Book a mobile visit and we’ll come to you.

Q: What will my total cost be?
A: Typical totals:
• 1 signature, Zone A (day): ~$40 • 3 signatures, Zone B (day): ~$80 • Evening/late jobs add an after-hours fee. You get an itemized quote before we go.
Q: What forms of payment do you take?

Q: Do you charge for waiting, parking, or printing?
A: After a 10-minute grace, waiting is billed in 15-minute increments. Parking/tolls at cost. Printing/scan-backs available (see fee card).
Appointments & Requirements
Q: How long does an appointment take?
A: 15–25 minutes for 1–2 signatures; 30–60 minutes for real-estate or POA packages.
Q: What should I have ready?
A: Valid ID, completed documents (no blanks), all signers present, and any required witnesses.
Q: Do you provide witnesses?
A: We can help coordinate credible-witness options when legally allowed—ask ahead.
Hospitals, Senior Care & Jails
Q: Do you visit hospitals or senior communities?
A: Yes. We’re experienced with bedside notarizations; please confirm the signer is alert and willing.
Q: Can you notarize at LA County jail?
A: Yes. We follow facility procedures. Bring inmate info and allow time for security.
Loan Signing (Real Estate)
Q: Do you handle loan packages?
A: Yes—seller, buyer/cash, refi. We print, present, notarize, scan back, and ship with a clear flat rate.
Q: What equipment do you use for scan-backs?
A: High-resolution scan with organized, labeled PDFs; we meet title/escrow requirements.
Apostille & Legalization
Q: What is an apostille and who needs it?
A: A state/federal certificate that makes your U.S. document valid in Hague-member countries. Non-Hague countries require authentication + consulate legalization.
Q: Can you notarize and apostille the same day?
A: We can notarize today and start apostille processing immediately. Rush/courier options depend on state office availability.
Q: How long does an apostille take?
A: Standard mail-in is usually 5–10 business days door-to-door; rush courier can be 1–3 business days once in hand. We’ll quote live timelines.
Q: Do you handle vital records and school docs?
A: Yes—vital records must be certified copies. We also manage diplomas/transcripts, POAs, corporate docs, and background checks.
I-9 & Employer Services
Q: Do you complete Form I-9 as an Authorized Representative?
A: Yes. Your employer designates us; we verify ID/work authorization in person. Fast 5–10 minute visits.
